Swing with Us NYC
Swingwithusnyc is a safe inclusive group dedicated to continuing the legacy and narrative of Lindy hop in Harlem and NYC. Every month the group organizers (Ronald Jones and Julia Loving) host dance events at the historic National Black Theatre in Harlem. It’s a fun, welcoming environment. Currently we host Live DJ swing dances with an emphasis on swing era music, blues, R&B and Soul. We host special panels and tours example; Generations of Harlem Lindy Hop, and the Woodlawn Cemetery Jazz and Lindy Tour. We are planning to a host many other historical events as well as live bands.
